The current raffle for signed paperback first editions of the complete Series 2 of the Noble Dead Saga ended as of midnight last night. Hopefully all of you got your entry in before the deadline.

The next step is selection of the winner via Random.org according to the number and order of entries received [see rules in the original notice]. The selected winner will be notified by email and have 48 hours to respond with verification of shipping address. If no response is received, a new winner is selected and verification repeats.

Come Monday we should have either a winner to announce or notification of a redraw process. After that, we will let all of you know when the next raffle will begin and what the prize will be. In this six raffle series, there will be three signed hardbound first editions of S3B2: The Dog in the Dark interspersed with other prizes. And yes, you may enter each raffle regardless of winning a previous prize. We will be back with you again come Monday.

Joseph Drane wins the first signed hardbound first edition of S3B2: The Dog in the Dark.

Joseph’s prize is slightly delayed, as post offices in the area shut down early today and will be closed New Year’s day as well. But his prize will be on its way as of January 2nd. This concludes the first of the current series of six raffles for signed volumes from the Noble Dead Saga.

Tara Kennedy wins the signed paperback copies of the complete Series/Phase 2 of the Noble Dead Saga.

Delivery instructions have been forwarded to the publisher’s publicity department. Tara’s prize should be shipped by late Monday or early Tuesday and arrive within ten business days. This concludes the fourth of six bi-weekly raffles for signed volumes from the Noble Dead Saga.

Coming next Friday, we will initiate the next raffle, and the next prize is a signed hardback first edition of S2B2: Through Stone and Sea.

Watch for the notice coming next Friday, April 27th, so spread the word. Entries will not be accepted until after notice of the raffle’s opening is given via this and other avenues of news from NobleDead.org.

ABOUT EMAIL:

1. Use an account that you check at least once everyday.
2. If you are screening for spam by rejecting HTML content, white-list the “nobledead.org” domain in your mail program and/or server to be certain you receive notification if you win a raffle. [We do not send direct email spam—ever!]
3. Barb and J.C. have full control of all participant information; you will not be added to any form of mailing list. All entries are discarded/deleted once a raffle is complete.

Winner Selection Process

The following is the process for the raffle and awarding of the prize.

1. Each entry is checked upon arrival for complete contact and delivery information as required.
2. Correct and complete entries are confirmed by email within 72 hours of being received. Incomplete entries are discarded and, if possible, the entrant is notified.
3. After the raffle's closing date, all entries are checked for duplicates based on Name, Email, and Delivery Address. Clear duplicates are discarded. Indeterminate ones may receive an email query at our discretion.
4. Verified entries are assigned a number by ordered of date/time received. The total number of entries is entered into a pure random number generator to select the winning entry. [See Random.org]
5. The winner is notified and reconfirmation of delivery information is requested. The winner has 48 hours to respond. If no response is received, that entry is discarded and a new winner is selected according to Step 4.
6. Upon confirmation of delivery information, the winner is announcement via NobleDead.org and its news distribution systems, including linked social systems.
7. Delivery information is passed on to the publicity department of our publisher, and the winner will receive the indicated prize, usually within 10 business days.
