Official site for the high/dark fantasy books of authors Barb Hendee and J. C. Hendee, including the Noble Dead Saga (a.k.a. The Noble Dead series), the Mist-Torn Witches series, the Vampire Memories series, and TNDS: Tales from the world of the Noble Dead Saga.

SITE UPDATE: Direct RSS/Atom Feeds

favicon_128128In our careful steps for moving content from BarbHendee.org over to NobleDead.org, there are other changes being made. This coming Friday (July 16th, 2013), we will discontinue using FeedBurner.com for RSS/Atom feeds and deliver such directly from NobleDead.org (only).

NOTE: This will not directly affect anyone following NobleDead.org through its linked social system pages.

Here’s what else you need to know, whether you currently follow NobleDead.org and/or BarbHendee.org…

Followers of BarbHendee.org

This coming Friday will also see the end of all news through Barb’s solo site; likely there will be no further news through that site from here on. To continue following Barb and her solo works, proceed immediately to NobleDead.org. There you can select your prefer method from options in the site’s right-side column under “Follow ‘NobleDead.org’ Your Way.”

NOTE: If you currently follow BarbHendee.og through an RSS or Atom newsfeed, see further instructions below.

RSS/Atom Followers

Visit NobleDead.org and click one of the new icons at the bottom of the “Follow ‘NobleDead.org’ Your Way” section in the right-hand column. Or you can right-click those icons and copy the URL of the feed type you need. Add this to your preferred application, browser, and/or online news reader so you do not miss anything once our feeds through Feedburner.com are discontinued.

Email Followers

Unfortunately, we have no options for you at present; NobleDead.org does not have direct email subscription support and likely never will. Consider using a browser (with direct support or plugin), an application, or an on-line news reader instead.

You can also follow our news through quite a few different social systems as mentioned above. Some of you might also have newsfeed support in your email application and/or service, so check that as well.

NOTE: at present, J.C. uses the free Vienna news reader, at least so long as he still works on a Mac. Though it is in another “beta” cycle, he can attest to its stability. Of course he also follows a couple hundred different feeds for different needs, so for some this application might be more than you need.

Barb’s Followers on Social Systems

Barb’s site has linked social system pages which will also cease receiving news this coming Friday; NobleDead.org has even more of those. Thereby, your options for following news about Barb and her works into the future are even greater.

If you read through all of the above, then you know the options available to you through NobleDead.org. Get a jump on the coming changes to stay in touch with Barb. And there is more to come that you do not want to miss.
