Something unusual has happened. The ebook edition was planned for distribution to Kobo and B&N, but the trade paperback edition has now appeared at BarnesandNoble.com. A new link has been added in the “Tales” page at NobleDead.org. Look under “Tales Anthologies” in the right-side submenu of that page.
Some will quickly note that B&N has a slight discount (for now) on the trade paperback version of Homeward by Barb. On the other hand, the discount on the ebook edition when purchased with the trade edition is only available at Amazon. Neither of these conditions are under the control of Barb and J.C.
When Homeward in print was first released, it was made available through distribution channels to third party booksellers. Who knew it would end up at B&N so quickly as well. We did not know until a couple of readers notified us. Now you know as well, and so much the better!
Homeward, our first “anthology” of selected works from “T·N·D·S: Tales from the worlds of the Noble Dead Saga,” is now available as both trade paperback and ebook.
A surprising number of our Noble Dead fans asked when any of our “tales” might appear in a printed format. We have been listening, and we so hope you enjoy this volume. Of course we did not leave out those of you who prefer ebooks.
This volume contains 6 of the most popular (and connected) tales by Barb from the “Homeward” collection. You can find more about it, including links to worldwide purchase points (with more to come), in the “Tales” section of NobleDead.org.
The work on this first print-on-demand endeavor has been a successful if arduous learning process. J.C. handled design and production layout, including finding a thematically wonderfully piece of artwork by Suzi “Kachinadoll” Amberson. This will not be our last collection set to print, but for now, we return to many projects underway or about to begin. Please help spread the word about this one.
A lot has happened of late around the home and home office. With the next manuscript for the Noble Dead Saga out the door, we thought we would immediately get back to more in T·N·D·S: Tales from the world of the Noble Dead Saga.
Well, we did, sort of but not… and not as planned. Yes, more are coming, but other things popped up along the way. Good stuff for us, and maybe one good thing for some of you.
Our daughter Jaclyn and her husband Paul had a baby. We are now the ecstatic “grandparents” of little Harper, and she is adorable! That is all we will say to maintain some privacy, but you can imagine this takes precedence over everything. We have altered a lot of short term plans but not the long term ones. Now, as to that book cover you see…
