Just a quick note today; as we work our way through the copyediting for S3B3: A Wind in the Night, some vendors are already making it available for pre-order. In addition, the cover for Barb’s next volume in the Mist-Torn Witches series has been finalized… along with the back-blurb / cover copy.
In the near future, there will come a few cosmetic makeovers for the site and some of its social system satellite pages. Some accessory content at Barb’s old site also still needs to be merged over. There should not be any interruption of services / news out of NobleDead.org.
Drop by for a chat and get your books signed… or pick up a copy of something you are missing as yet.
Full details of the event and attendees are available at the store’s own site: BobsBeachBooks.net.
This will be the final notice, article, update, etc. to pass through BarbHendee.org. All future news from Barb and/or J.C. about published works and other things will be distributed only through NobleDead.org, its direct RSS/Atom feeds, and its linked social system pages.
There are still tasks to complete in this transition; this includes more content at Barb’s site to be merged over. All of her book related information is now in the “Books” section at NobleDead.org.
Final setup for Barb to publish her regular article offerings over at their combined site are under way. Within a week or so, thought after they both complete copyedits for S3B3: A Wind in the Night, Barb will pick up where she left off with regular commentaries and such article series as “Writer’s Corner”… over at NobleDead.org.
If you follow NobleDead.org and/or BarbHendee.org through RSS/Atom feeds, go to NobleDead.org (only) to find the new links in our right-hand column under “Follow ‘NobleDead.org’ You Way.” Change the linked URLs in your preferred news readers now to avoid missing anything. The feeds through BarbHendee.org will be discontinued on Friday.
Followers of our Social System Pages
The RSS feed is also how we distribute articles to 95% of our social system pages. We will connect the new feeds into those pages on Friday as well. You do not need to do anything unless you follow a page linked to BarbHendee.org. If so, time to switch over to social pages linked to NobleDead.org instead, where Barb will continue her known articles, commentary, and series into the future.
In our careful steps for moving content from BarbHendee.org over to NobleDead.org, there are other changes being made. This coming Friday (July 16th, 2013), we will discontinue using FeedBurner.com for RSS/Atom feeds and deliver such directly from NobleDead.org (only).
NOTE: This will not directly affect anyone following NobleDead.org through its linked social system pages.
Here’s what else you need to know, whether you currently follow NobleDead.org and/or BarbHendee.org…
This is a brief test of new (and old) hashtag developments on several of our linked social systems, now including Facebook. Honestly, we do not expect this to amount to much, but in the online battle for advertising, we must try anything…
We are in the process of moving content from BarbHendee.org over to NobleDead.org. You can now find Barb’s novels for The Mist-Torn Witches series and the Vampire Memories series in the “Books” section of NobleDead.org. Considering that Barb’s recent professional works as well as her T·N·D·S short ebook “Tales” are all set in the world of the Noble Dead Saga, it simply made sense for us to work out of one site into the future. We are used to working together anyway, if you did not notice.
Nobody panic just yet! Barb’s site will not suddenly vanish. We will give plenty of time to switch over in how you follow her news. All of her usual commentary and article series will continue into the future over at NobleDead.org.
If you want to get a head start, consider subscribing, following, etc. NobleDead.org now. There you will find quite a few more options for social systems of preference from which to choose. That is all for now, and we will remind everyone several more times before the final switch, so stay tuned.

For more information please visit the “Tales” page at NobleDead.org. While you are there, have a look at previous “Tales” releases in the “Homeward” and other collections. Though set in the world of the Noble Dead Saga, all “tales” and their collections do not require knowledge of any books or series written by Barb & J.C. Hendee. You can easily pick up and read one as your first venture into this world. And so…
